Regions include New Yorkshire, Glasvegas, Los Anglesea, and much more. We don't use dollars or pounds here; instead, we have Britmerican Bucks. Enjoy a hodge-podge of UK-US school culture (did you enjoy taking your AP-Levels?) You can even make pop culture references—haven't you heard of the hit game //Digbuild//? Your characters will be sent into a world designed not for them, but for children, one reminiscent of both UK residentials and American campsites. Do you dedicate your time to your project so that you can get a better score than your rival? Or do you instead sneak into the Activity Centre to go on the zipline? Do you follow the rules? Or do you host a party in the woods? Maybe you'll investigate the camp and its staff—there has to be some secrets in this place, right? If you hadn't already guessed, //Happy Campers// is a **silly, lighthearted game.** We encourage you to make jokes and to think of the most hilarious combinations of British-American names. There are mysteries to uncover, gossip to be shared, and most importantly: climbing walls to be climbed. //Happy Campers// is a game about reconnecting with your inner child and introspection—you are only spending one summer here. How will that short time affect the friendships and decisions you make? There will be space to explore some more gritty themes (though you do not have to interact with these themes if you don't want to). The camp is a perfect place for personal development and discovery—however, please be aware that there will be limited capacity to explore darker themes (especially during uptimes). This game is positive and hopeful, and while sometimes things don't work out, we do the best with what we have. Enjoy the rediscovery of childlike wonder, and find out what is important to you. =====Inspirations===== * Sex Education (2019) * East Barnby - The North Yorkshire Outside Learning Centre * Camp America * //No Good Deed// by Goldy Moldavsky style_and_tone.txt Last modified: 2025/07/05 12:52by gm_rei
