Only now does the awkward conversation begin, an hour into your ride back home, with Abby at the helm. You were always easily distracted, and summer camp certainly didn’t help with that. While you have delved into the supernatural, cultivating your curiosities, maybe it was easy to forget about those who were around you.

Maybe you struggle to reach out sometimes. Some would even claim talking to a sea monster is easier than talking to your friends. There’s something easier about it when you don’t need to understand them.

//The atmosphere is tense. You turn on the radio.//

But just as the ripples of a lake soon disappear, everything turns out okay in the end, right?

//Maybe we can start our own forum?//

//A public forum… but we’re just a fanclub?//

//A fanclub with experience, Abby! And besides, who’s gonna see it anyway?//

You’ve always found it easier to talk to those with similar interests to you, so when you and Abby formed ‘Ohiocester Occult Fanclub,' you quickly found those like-minded to you. 

Of course, you made sure not to reveal too much--but you enjoy watching people’s eyes light up as you say, “Yeah, you might be right!”
